Agreement to these Terms
These Terms apply when you create a PointWarden User or use the beta. Signup requires an unchecked box that refers to this exact version, beta-2026-08-26. PointWarden records the accepted version and server time with your User.
The companion Privacy Policy explains how the beta handles personal and operational information; it is a notice, not an additional agreement checkbox.
The beta service
PointWarden observes public HTTP or HTTPS Endpoints, creates Check Evidence, confirms Incidents and Recovery, and sends subscribed Notification Events to verified Notifiers. The free beta has product limits, including limits on saved and active Monitors, Workspaces, Workspace Members, and enabled Notifiers.
PointWarden reports what it observed. Availability shown in the product is not a guarantee of an Endpoint's complete health, and notifications are not a substitute for your own incident response or safety controls.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate signup information and protect your credentials.
- Configure only Endpoints you are authorized to monitor and Notifiers you are authorized to receive messages through.
- Keep Workspace membership and roles appropriate for the people you invite.
- Review monitoring and notification results before relying on them for an important decision.
Acceptable use
You must not use PointWarden to:
- scan private networks or Endpoints you lack authority to test;
- probe for vulnerabilities, evade access controls, or cause harm;
- send unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or unsolicited messages;
- bypass quotas, rate limits, Turnstile, or other safety controls; or
- interfere with PointWarden or another User's Workspace.
PointWarden may restrict or suspend activity that threatens the service, third parties, or these rules.
Workspaces and deletion
Workspace roles control who may view or change configuration. Owners are responsible for membership and ownership decisions. A Personal Workspace cannot be transferred. Other Workspaces must be transferred or deleted before their sole Owner can delete the User.
Deletion is designed to remove active product data as described in the Privacy Policy. Deleted Workspace data is not restored through PointWarden, so preserve any information you need before requesting deletion.
Changes and availability
This is a free beta. Features, limits, and integrations may change, and service may be interrupted. Internal service objectives are not a contractual service-level agreement. PointWarden may end or limit the beta, and will avoid presenting an internal objective as a promised uptime level.
If a material Terms change requires new agreement, PointWarden will publish a new version and ask for a new affirmative acceptance rather than rewriting the acceptance already stored.
Ownership and feedback
You keep responsibility for the configuration and information you provide. PointWarden and its software, design, and product materials remain owned by their respective operator and licensors. If you offer feedback, PointWarden may use it to improve the product without an obligation to implement or compensate for it.
Legal boundaries of this draft
The beta is provided on an as-available basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing here removes rights that cannot lawfully be waived. The only remaining publication details for this personal beta are the operator's identifying name and a staffed contact method. They must be added before external beta enrollment opens.
